PAST INVESTIGATIONS
JEROME HAUNTED TOURS, LLC
WHEN: 09/19/09
WHAT: Tour guest
IMPRESSION: Positive
EVALUATION: Average to good entertainment value
Our impression on Jerome Haunted Tours is very positive. The owner, Ronne Roope, is the former historian of Jerome, AZ who had meticulously put the archives together with great care and attention to detail. He also teaches courses at Yavapai College in Clarkdale, AZ. I am a student in one of those courses and can vouch for the fact he is a great teacher and speaker. *note I am not trying to get any points here.
The use of EMF detection equipment is also provided on the tour. We feel this is great for folks wanting to learn a little about the field of paranormal research. The tour guides are excellent, they provide you with the rich history of Jerome along with courtesy and comfort. Thier van provides very comfortable transportation to the sites along the tour along with the showing of a video describing Jerome's haunted past.
The tour itself was given by Athol Bremner who had grown up in and around Jerome, AZ. He is a very good speaker and tour guide who paid great attention to detail and the guests. I and the rest of the guests came away with the understanding that Jerome is a very fascinating place with a rich history that lives up to it's reputation. There were several points along the tour that caught our attention, one being the headquarters of Haunted Tours of Jerome. It is located in the basement of "Otto's Place" a former house of ill repute, salloon and scene of a grizzly murder that happened on May 04, 1912. The victim, Walter Vogel (Otto's son) is reputed to still haunt the place. Electronic phenomenon along with doors opperating on there own are reported there. Another place that caught our attention is The Conner Hotel built in 1898, which also is reputed to be a haunted location. One of our own investigators actually had a personal experience there that we would love to back up with some evidence. All in all, Jerome, AZ is a hotspot with many places of interest to a seasoned paranormal investigator. We will be back to Jerome, look out Headless Charlie, here we come!

GUEST INVESTIGATIVE TEAMS
Sonoran Paranormal Investigations (SPI) (TAPS family members)
East Valley Paranormal Society (EVPS)
SAGAPS
Verde Valley Spirit Seekers (VVSS)
Tuscon Paranormal
We really enjoyed the opportunity to exchange ideas, share knowledge and share our experiences with the team members of the other groups. Everyone had a great time. We really enjoyed working with Joe & Amanda from SAGAPS and Brenda Clark of Tuscon paranormal during the main part of the investigation along with the opportunity to work with members of EVPS and VVSS later in the school house. The investigation did yield evidence indicative of paranormal activity in the form of electronic voice phenomenon (EVP) in the bullion vault, located under the floor in the Assayer's building. Some possible evp's were also caught in the school house locations, which are still under review. The bullion vault evp's are very interesting as I was the only one inside the vault, with the other members of the team (Joe, Amanda, Raven and Brenda Clark) outside for safety. The photos, audio (including the evp's and full sessions) are in our gallery archives for review by everyone.
We are proud members of GHOST ADVENTURES CREW
