Subject: Jerome Haunted Tours, LLC

Our Impression: Positive

Our impression on Jerome Haunted Tours is very positive. The owner, Ronne Roope is the former historian of Jerome, AZ who had meticulously put the archives together with great care and attention to detail. He also teaches courses at Yavapai College in Clarkdale, AZ. I am a student in one of those courses and can vouch for the fact he is a great teacher and speaker. *note I am not trying to get any points here.

The use of EMF detection equipment is also provided on the tour. We feel this is great for folks wanting to learn a little about the field of paranormal research. The tour guides are excellent, they provide you with the rich history of Jerome along with courtesy and comfort. Thier van provides very comfortable transportation to the sites along the tour along with the showing of a video describing Jerome's haunted past.

The tour itself was given by Athol Bremner who had grown up in and around Jerome, AZ. He is a very good speaker and tour guide who paid great attention to detail and the guests. I and the rest of the guests came away with the understanding that Jerome is a very fascinating place with a rich history that lives up to it's reputation. There were several points along the tour that caught our attention, one being the headquarters of Haunted Tours of Jerome. It is located in the basement of "Otto's Place" a former house of ill repute, salloon and scene of a grizzly murder that happened on May 04, 1912. The victim, Walter Vogel (Otto's son) is reputed to still haunt the place. Electronic phenomenon along with doors opperating on there own are reported there. Another place that caught our attention is The Conner Hotel built in 1898, which also is reputed to be a haunted location. One of our own investigators actually had a personal experience there that we would love to back up with some evidence. All in all, Jerome, AZ is a hotspot with many places of interest to a seasoned paranormal investigator. We will be back to Jerome, look out Headless Charlie, here we come!

What: A Joint Paranormal Investigation

Our Impression: Possitive

We were very pleased to be invited to the joint paranormal investigation of the Vulture Gold Mines near Wickenburg, AZ. The event was hosted and put together by Kim Mann of the East Valley Paranormal Society and Tuscon Paranormal. Many other investigative teams were there including SPI(Sonoran Paranormal Investigations) which are T.A.P.S. family members, E.V.P.S (East Valley Paranormal Society), S.A.G.A.P.S, V.V.S.S (Verde Valley Spirit Seekers), Tuscon Paranormal and The Ghostly Portal. We really enjoyed the opportunity to exchange ideas, share knowledge and share our experiences with the team members of the other groups. Everyone had a great time. We really enjoyed working with Joe & Amanda from S.A.G.A.P.S and Brenda Clark of Tuscon paranormal during the main part of the investigation along with the opportunity to work with members of E.V.P.S and V.V.S.S later in the school house. The investigation did yield evidence indicative of paranormal activity in the form of E.V.P's (electronic voice phenomenon) in the bullion vault, located under the floor in the Assayer's building. Some possible evp's were also caught in the school house locations, which are still under review. The bullion vault evp's are very interesting as I was the only one inside the vault, with the other members of the team (Joe, Amanda, Raven and Brenda Clark) outside for safety. The photos, audio (including the evp's and full sessions) are in our gallery archives for review by everyone.

Our Evaluation: There is paranormal activity at this location that we will be back to follow up at a later time.

When: Friday, April 30th thru Sunday, May 2nd

We are pleased to announce a definitive date for the next Joint Paranormal Investigation!

We will also be following up on some of the evidence caught in a previous investigation.

We have the date set for the first weekend in May, this will be both friday night (April 30th) and saturday night (May 1st). One thing you do need to know is there is no electricity at the mines, those attending investigations should bring their own equipment (some may share theirs as well). Also, this is like camping so tents and camping gear are a plus, we will be using the newer schoolhouse as a base of opperations. Although we do not charge any money doing this, The Vulture Mines does charge a $15 fee per person per night and is payable within the shop at the mines. We will also be having a potluck so bring some food and grills too, if you have them. We will all be participating in the organization of this event and will try to make sure that we don't "cross the streams" as to catch quality evidence. There is allot of ground to cover as well as some rich history, we've spoken with the owners and they've agreed to do interviews on the history. After the investigations, we can all get together and go over evidence once all the teams have rested up and done their reviews. We've prepared a full featured media archive for this purpose for those who want to share here: http://www.ghostlyportal.com/archives which includes a mini-forum and lots of space. This is sure to be allot of fun, you'll have the opportunity to work with other groups and make friends. Please remember that Independents and groups are welcome to attend, we have 50 slots(meaning about 50 vehicles will fit in the lot at the mines) available and you can bring RV's if you prefer. Feel free to post in the forums regarding equipment and ideas for the mines and lets have some fun!

We will be posting updates concerning this joint investigation in our forums. If you would like to attend, please send us an e-mail with details on how many will be with you to: gettereks@ghostlyportal.com we will respond as soon as possible.
